A heartbeat away from Heroes’ Square and Városliget (City Park), you can see the back of the Szépmûvészeti múzeum (Fine Art Museum) and overlook the lower end of the Zoo from its windows. Room service ends at 6 pm, forcing you to go out or dine downstairs in the late evenings. However, it is the only three star I have ever seen that has a television-monitored garage and 24-hour security. If you’re driving on a budget and want worry-free parking, here it is supplemented with laundry service, inroom telephones, and restaurant, open till 11 pm (four-star quality). The sauna is small but offers massage services, with a solarium, and it’s a short walk to the zoo, city circus, amusement park, playgrounds and museums, the Széchenyi Thermal Spa and restaurants, or a metro ticket to all other points of the city. You can also rent a bicycle from the hotel.
